Oreomecon rubroaurantiaca is a species of flowering plant in the family Papaveraceae, native to Northeast Asia. Primarily grows in subalpine or subarctic biomes, often in high-altitude environments. Formerly known as Papaver rubroaurantiacum, it was recently recombined into the genus Oreomecon. This genus was established in 2022 for what was previously treated as Papaver section Meconella in order to ensure that the genus Papaver was monophyletic.
